Based on data at the MMC hospital, one of the victims treated at the hospital was I Gusti Agung Ray, an official of the BPK.

Anwar Nasution said the BPK official went to JW Marriott Hotel which was blown up on Friday to bid farewell to delegates of a number of countries who had just attended a meeting on corruption and money laundry eradication.

There were delegates from 15 countries including the United States, Germany, Peru, Malaysia and Ecuador, who stayed at the hotel and planned to return to their countries on Friday. They attended the meeting on July 15-16, 2009, he said.

During the bomb blast, the BPK official was injured on the left feet after being hit by a shrapnel thrown by the bomb explosion.
